About Me

A storyteller at heart, Lauren Salisbury brings over 15 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, and social media strategy for global brands.

Born in Northern California to a family of avid road trippers, Lauren visited 46 states by the time she was 16, cementing her love for travel at an early age.

She holds a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Maryland College Park. After graduation, she pursued her dream of working at Walt Disney World in Florida before venturing overseas to broaden her professional experience with roles in Spain and Costa Rica.

Since 2016, Lauren has made Los Angeles her home, where she has worked as a publicist and communications leader for prestigious travel destinations such as Australia, Santa Monica and Los Angeles.

She is currently serving as Vice President of Communications for Santa Monica Travel & Tourism, continuing to shape the city’s global brand presence.

A dedicated traveler, Lauren has visited more than 120 countries, with the goal of visiting all 197. When not traveling, she enjoys mountain biking, combining her love for California’s outdoors and her adventurous spirit.
